Bridgepoint, rooftop view

Throwing a classic vintage wedding but want all the urban NYC feels? Well look not further my friends! I have found the perfect venue for you!

If you are considering any venue in Brooklyn you are most likely researching a BK Venue. You know the W Loft, The Greenpoint Loft, and 26 Bridge. They are seriously killing the game, and Bridgepoint is the most unique addition to their collection of venues. Every one of their venues are in prime Brooklyn locations, have killer views and are so close to every photographers dream photo spots like Jane’s Carolosel. If I had to choose what kind of drink to describe most of BK venues it would be a straight up shot of whiskey (for fun lets say Jameson, because what other kind of whiskey do you take shots with?) They are Rustic Brooklyn, with red bricks everywhere but is more for the rustic/hipster Brooklyn wedding vibe. That is why Bridgepoint is the Old School Gin Daisy, of their collection. It is made for the classic vintage NYC wedding.

The one word that keeps coming to mind about bridgepoint is enchanting. The indoor ceremony space is based with white marble floors contrasted with black & gold metal accents. Then outside is an open rooftop with lights already set up for your outdoor reception. It is perfect for an intimate wedding with 60 of your closest family & friends.

And here is your view when you are about to walk down the aisle.

And THAT right THERE, is your view, your guests view, is the backdrop to all of your wedding photographs and memories. Just you know imagine the chairs, tables, lights, and of course your family and friends dancing& drinking the night away.

When walking around I was flooded with so so many ideas for bridal portraits, everything is so dreamy, romantic and gives you everything classic nyc.

I think what is so unquie about any BK venue, is that you get to customize everything. The tables, chairs, you can rent out any kind of furniture you can find!

They have so many caterers, florists and lighting vendors that you could work with, to create your dream wedding. They are so flexible with all of that kind of stuff, which is even more impressive!

I don’t think you understand how cool this is! Imagine you can fully personalize every aspect of your wedding venue, literally to the plates that food is served on!

Something at 26 Bridge that I got to see that you MUST take advantage of is the space (right next to the main room) where food trucks would be stationed! You heard me right, a personalized food truck of whatever goodies you and your family LOVE. Like pizza, tacos, DONUTS! Who doesn’t want a donut as a midnight snack after dancing like a maniac for five hours. So you book the truck for whenever you want and your guests can just pop outside grab a donut and head back on over the dance floor!

Remember these beautiful people?

Well you should! This is Calvin & Karen, they are awesome and had their wedding reception at 26 Bridge! Where I was the most honored of second shooters to work along side Sarah Zimmerman Photography.

I would like to thank Mary and the BK Venue team for inviting and showing me around to three of their breathtaking venues, 26 Bridge, Dumbo Loft, and Bridge Point. Such an incredible experience to see all of these venues in person. Photos are great but nothing compares being able to see it., and exist in the space. So if you are considering a Brooklyn Venue for your wedding, I highly suggest contracting Mary and setting up a meeting. You can do exactly what I did, all three of these venues are in walking distance of each other.
